Icefyre

About a year after Enitri came to this Realm she was given a very special gift from a very dear and close friend, Vallery. The gift was a large grey-blue egg from Vallery's Lake Dragon, Sym. Sym had lain two eggs and given them to Vall to find good homes for them. Vall gave one to Enitri, and the other -I believe- to Bridge. Vall told Enitri the amazing amount of trust and love that Sym was putting into her hands, giving her one of the only two eggs Sym had produced thus far. Enitri took on the responsibility of hatching and raising her little dragon. About a month after the egg was given to her, Enitri finally got to see it hatch. From the grey-blue egg came a small baby dragon, about the length of her forearm, a beautiful silvery-blue colour to his scales. Enitri instantly fell in love with the baby dragon, but found, as Vallery warned her, that she could not come up with a name for him. She decided, for the time being, she would call him Baby Blue. Not too much time passed before Enitri made the journy down to the depths of the Lake, and to Sym's cave, to tell her that the egg had hatched. Sym and Enitri had a lengthly conversation on raising a baby dragon and Enitri left with much more knowledge then she came with. Not a week passed after visiting Sym and Baby Blue had already grown almost double his hatching size. His scales were hardening and he was starting to try his dragon abilities. His wings, now strong enough to support him, were constantly flapping as he tried to fly. His tiny bursts of flame and smoke were more concerning, and interesting, to Enitri. Rather than the typical red or orange colour she assumed the flames would take on, then took on a bright-almost icy-blue colour. Again, Enitri turned to Sym for help. Sym explained that it was indeed Ice Fire that Enitri was describing. A flame that not many dragons had, though it could be traced back in Sym's background. Enitri was amazed and wanted to learn as much about this Ice Fire as she could. Through the instruction of Sym, Enitri was able to help Baby Blue, who she later renamed Icefyre after his gift, gain controll of his Ice Fire. Still though, she was too curious. By the time Icefyre had grown to a young dragon Enitri had started feeling odd. She could almost catch glimpses in her mind's eye of what Icefyre could see, hear him though he could not talk, she was aware of him now, even when he wasn't around. If he was hurt, she could feel it, in part. Confused and scared she asked Sym, once more, for help. Sym answered that it was perfectly normal. What Enitri was feeling was not only the power of Ice Fire, but the power that Icefyre now had. She explained that, judging by what Enitri told her, Icefyre was unconciously trying to Bind her. Sym explained that when a dragon found someone that they truely trusted they could sometimes Bind with them, causing an exchange of sorts. The Binder, Icefyre, would have a companion he could trust and a protect. The Binded, Enitri, would have a Gaurdian for life and would also become a holding cell for part of Icefyre's soul. Enitri was shocked untill Sym explained that a dragon's soul is larger than it's body, usually dragons trasfer some of thier souls to thier treasure, which they guard at all times anyway. Sym explained in length that it seemed Icefyre had choosen Enitri as his Binded Treasure. It was a great honor and had only been done a few times in all history. Enitri, being alive, would most likely get part of his abilities, depending on how much of his soul he put in her. After much thought and consideration, agreed to the Binding and became Icefyre's Binded Treasure.

Becoming Icefyre's Binded Treasure  gave Enitri her ability to use and controll Ice Fire.
